Highburton Co-Op

Michael Steel & Co acted on behalf of Tony Denham and Sarah Long of DL Partnership LLP, the joint liquidators of the Highburton Industrial & Provident Society Ltd, in connection with the marketing and sale of the former Highburton Co-op at Moor Lane. The freehold premises extending to approximately 3,800 sq ft were offered for sale by private treaty at offers over £185,000. The availability of the premises generated competing interest and, following the invitation of best bids, a sale was completed at a price significantly above the guide to a private individual represented by Smiths Chartered Surveyors.
